Kixx has announced the launch of Kixx DLC Fluid PG25, a direct liquid cooling fluid designed to enhance energy efficiency in the data center industry.
Kixx’s newly launched direct liquid cooling fluid, Kixx DLC Fluid PG25, was developed using propylene glycol, widely used as an ingredient in cosmetics that minimizes the impact on human health and the environment, along with Organic Acid Technology (OAT) additives that provide excellent corrosion protection.
With the launch of its new direct liquid cooling fluid, Kixx has now entered both segments of the liquid cooling market: immersion cooling and direct liquid cooling.
Direct liquid cooling is a technology in which cold plates are attached to heat-generating electronic components inside servers—such as CPUs and GPUs—and a direct liquid cooling fluid is circulated through them to dissipate heat. Alongside immersion cooling, in which electronic devices are submerged directly into a cooling fluid, it has recently emerged as a key cooling technology gaining attention in the data center industry.
Both immersion cooling and direct liquid cooling offer improved energy efficiency compared to traditional air-cooling systems. Among liquid cooling technologies, immersion cooling delivers greater overall efficiency for servers, while direct liquid cooling is particularly effective for the localized cooling of components prone to heat generation inside servers such as CPUs and GPUs. As a result, users can selectively apply either method depending on their specific needs and operating environment.
“Going forward, we will continue our efforts to enhance energy efficiency by collaborating with clients across data centers and other industries through the use of our liquid cooling products, such as immersion cooling fluids and direct liquid cooling fluids,” a Kixx representative stated.

In 2023, Kixx launched an immersion cooling fluid, the Kixx Immersion Fluid S.
Prior to the launch of its new direct liquid cooling fluid, Kixx launched an immersion cooling fluid, Kixx Immersion Fluid S, and has since partnered with domestic and global data center players to demonstrate its products and expand the market.

Kixx has built an immersion cooling system at its Daejeon R&D Center to evaluate thermal performance and stability for AI servers.
Kixx supplied and demonstrated its immersion cooling fluid at Samsung SDS data centers in 2024 and at LG U+’s hyperscale data center, Pyeongchon 2 Center, earlier this year. In addition, the brand collaborated with Supermicro, a global server manufacturer headquartered in the U.S., to build and test an immersion cooling system for AI servers at its Daejeon R&D center.
Furthermore, in September, Kixx signed an MOU with GS E&C and SDT to jointly develop immersion cooling technology for data centers and is collaborating to advance and demonstrate immersion cooling technology aimed at reducing energy consumption in data centers.
With the launch of its new direct liquid cooling fluid, Kixx DLC Fluid PG25, Kixx has established itself as a comprehensive provider of liquid cooling solutions—one of the core technologies driving greater efficiency and sustainability in modern digital infrastructure. The brand will continue to drive the advancement of future industries through ongoing innovation.
